Jerald Hans Harshberger is an ABC-certified prosthetist/orthotist for Hanger Clinic in Birmingham, Alabama.

As a clinician with more than 20 years of experience in the field, Hans is a third-generation prosthetist. He follows the footsteps of his grandfather, an amputee who opened his own prosthetics practice in Ohio, and his father who joined the field and also opened his own facility in Alabama. Hans began working in his father’s business at 15 years old, and knew he wanted to continue his family’s legacy by helping amputees regain their independence.
