Mason is a bilateral below knee amputee that has been working with new amputees since 2021 as a Community Care Coordinator. He provides support and education to people new to the limb loss community. Mason’s focus is on helping people transition to living life as an amputee. He enjoys this role because, “I didn’t have anyone to help me make the transition to becoming an amputee and had to figure everything out on my own. The fact that I can provide that help to others is very important to me.”
Mason is a retired Paramedic and has worked in healthcare for over 20 years.
Outside of work Mason enjoys fishing, and is working towards qualifying for the US Paralympic team in Parafencing. Mason has also successfully competed in other adaptive sports such as Disabled Strongman, Para Spartan, and Adaptive Crossfit.
