Ryan is an ABC-certified, Florida-licensed prosthetist/orthotist for Hanger Clinic in Southwest Florida. He sees patients in Sarasota, Venice, and Bradenton. He has more than a decade of experience providing prosthetic and orthotic care, including upper extremity prosthetics, cranial remolding orthoses, neuromuscular scoliosis treatment, cerebral palsy management, and contracture management. He enjoys “solving the puzzle” of treating a patient, helping people overcome both physical and emotional hurdles.
He particularly enjoys working with highly motivated and engaged patients, and those patients often include infants being treated for cranial asymmetry. It brings him joy to be able to communicate improvements to concerned parents, encouraging them to keep up the good work and dedication to the process.
Ryan has a background in sculpture and has also been a park ranger with the state park service. Outside of the clinic, he’s likely to be found enjoying parks and nature. He believes in the healing power of spending time outdoors, and recommends the practice to everyone.
