Alicia is an ABC-certified orthotist/prosthetist and clinic manager for Hanger Clinic in Sherman, Texas.
With over 17 years of experience in the field, Alicia works with patients of all ages and provides all levels of orthotics and prosthetic devices, specializing in lower limb prosthetics and a full spectrum of custom orthotics. She is especially passionate about working with children and incorporating new technologies in lower limb prosthetics such as microprocessors and vacuum suspensions. Alicia is also scoliosis certified, cranial remolding certified, and skilled in lower limb bracing.
Alicia grew up in the industry and is a third generation prosthetist/orthotist in her family. She has worked in many different orthotic and prosthetic settings, including both private and hospital based.
Alicia is passionate about helping others regain their function, mobility, and quality of life. She is thankful for the opportunity to help others and enjoys getting to know her patients and learning what is important to them during their assessments to create a care plan that fulfills their needs and expectations as much as possible.
Outside of work, Alicia enjoys spending time with her three young children and husband, attending church, and going canoeing and camping.
