Lance is an ABC-certified orthotist at Hanger Clinic in Grand Rapids and Big Rapids, Michigan.
As a clinician with nearly two decades of healthcare experience, Lance is skilled with all ages and medical diagnoses but has advanced experience in treating complex pediatric cases, including cranial remolding, club foot, and scoliosis. His clinical approach emphasizes multidisciplinary care and communication, creating a fun and exciting interaction with pediatric patients, and embracing technology to improve treatment outcomes.
Before becoming an orthotist, Lance worked both as a physical therapy aide and caseworker for a brain injury program. It was during this time that Lance realized he had a passion for working with patients requiring orthotic intervention. Lance’s background plays a large role in his highly individualized and outcomes-driven care, which prioritizes communication with the team of medical providers involved in a patient’s care, including doctors, nurses, therapists and caseworkers.
Outside of work, Lance enjoys hiking, fishing, and cycling with his family and friends.
