Larissa is a board-certified and Illinois licensed prosthetist/orthotist in Gurnee, Illinois.
As the Gurnee Clinic Manager, Larissa works with prostheses and is passionate about helping people meet their goals and honored to be a part of that process. Her favorite part of her job is helping someone take their first steps with their first prosthesis.
Larissa started her career working as a lab technician, fabricating custom devices. In addition to working many years as a clinician, she also worked as a research assistant with Dr. Yeongchi Wu to develop the dilatancy casting technique for custom foot orthoses. Larissa has found her combined experiences have made her a well-rounded clinician.
Outside of work, Larissa enjoys spending time with family and friends, knitting, and running.
