Jacob is an ABC-certified prosthetist/orthotist with Hanger Clinic in Northern Virginia.
As a clinician, Jacob is skilled in orthotic and prosthetic technology. Prior to working in Northern Virginia, he completed his residency at the National Rehabilitation Hospital in Washington, DC. There his responsibilities included being the lead orthotist of the post-polio clinic. From this experience, Jacob is passionate about collaboration, both with his patients and the healthcare treatment team, to obtain the best possible outcomes for his patients.
Jacob enjoys working with children, complex orthotic and prosthetic cases, and athletes looking to enhance development in adaptive sports. As part of this adaptive sports passion, he and a colleague have created an adaptive sports program in the DMV area. Additionally, he currently serves as a board member on the Orthotics and Prosthetics Activities Foundation (OPAF).
Outside of work, Jacob enjoys hiking, snowboarding, coffee, and talking to anyone about BBQ.
