Erica is an ABC-certified Prosthetist/Orthotist, practicing at the Schaumburg, IL clinic.
Erica graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science. She then attended Northwestern University, where she received a Master’s degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics. Following graduate school, Erica completed her Orthotic Residency with Boston Orthotics & Prosthetics where she had the opportunity to serve the patients and families of Boston Children’s Hospitals. Her training there focused on Scoliosis, Cranial Remolding Orthoses and Pediatric Lower Limb Orthoses.
Erica completed her Prosthetic Residency at various Hanger Clinic locations in the Chicagoland area, where she had the opportunity to learn from local specialists in above and below knee amputations, including sub-ischial sockets. While completing her Prosthetic Residency she continued her work as a Certified Orthotist.
Erica believes in multi-disciplinary care and working alongside other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes for her patients. She approaches patient care from a holistic viewpoint with the goal of helping patients restore their mobility and meeting their functional needs. She is passionate about pediatrics and enjoys the long-term relationships she is able to have with her patients.
Outside of the office, Erica enjoys traveling with her husband, getting together with her family and friends, and going on adventures with her miniature goldendoodle, Maple.
