Hanger Clinic is hosting its second BAKA Bootcamp 2023 in Kansas City, known for its art, jazz, and BBQ.
Kansas City is home to several world-renowned museums, including the National WWI Museum and Memorial, which is hosting the Bespoke Bodies: The Design & Craft of Prosthetics exhibit. Our mobility clinic will be at the museum where we’ll climb to the top of the Liberty Memorial Tower.
If you are a person with bilateral above-knee limb loss or limb difference, don’t miss out on attending this year’s Bootcamp. No matter your mobility level, you will be inspired to “Decide to Rise” to the next level of your abilities. You will be challenged and encouraged by your peers with limb loss, along with an exceptional Hanger Clinic team, led by Kevin Carroll, MS, CP, FAAOP/D.

- Navigating ramps, stairs, curbs, uneven terrain

- Thursday night Roaring 20s Jazz Dinner

- Phantom pain management

Travel
The nearest airport to the hotel is the Kansas City International Airport (17.3 miles/20 minutes from hotel). The hotel does not have an airport shuttle and attendees are on their own for airport transportation. If accessible transportation is needed, email [email protected] and the events team will assist.
