Mike is an ABC-certified prosthetist with over 20 years of prosthetic practice. He joins the Woburn office with experience in fitting both upper and lower extremity prosthetics.
Mike spent the first 10 years of his career with Hanger Clinic in NYC, where he was born and raised. Unique to Mike’s practice is that he has a background in fine arts as well as woodworking. He studied human anatomy, drawing and figure modeling as well as furniture making, which he did professionally before going into the field of prosthetics.
Based on that that background, Mike approaches his practice with an artist’s lens. He likes to think outside the box to find solutions for difficult cases. True to Hanger Clinic’s philosophy, his clinical approach revolves around the idea that nothing is more important than the patient.
Mike has traveled to Latin America on multiple prosthetic mission trips and believes human ambulation is a necessity, not a luxury.
When Mike is not busy working in the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. You can also find him laying down the groove while drumming in a local North Shore band.
