Eric S. Eisenberg is an ABC-certified prosthetist/orthotist for Hanger Clinic in Birmingham, Alabama.
As a clinician with more than 24 years of experience in the field, Eric became interested in O&P at an early age. His father is an orthopedic surgeon, and his younger sister is affected by cerebral palsy. Eric saw the positive impact the field of orthotics had on his sister’s life, by allowing her to walk, preventing contractures, and helping support and align her spine and extremities. He was also inspired by his father establishing the first amputee skiing program for returning Vietnam veterans at Fitzsimmon Army Hospital in Denver, Colorado.
