Katie Johnson is an ABC-certified prosthetist/orthotist for Hanger Clinic in Cincinnati, Ohio.
As a clinician, Katie has a long history of achievements in the O&P field. Katie has taught Upper Extremity Prosthetics at Eastern Michigan University and was a residency mentor for five years. For the past 15 years, she has been a frequent presenter at the Academy Annual meeting. Katie has also authored seven peer reviewed papers, six book chapters, and an article for ‘The Academy Today’ publication.
Katie’s past volunteer work includes four trips with the Range of Motion Project in Central and South America, serving as the Chair of the Women in O&P, and leading the AAOP Publications Committee Literature Update Working Group. Katie currently is a member of the Clinical Content Committee for the Academy Annual Meeting (since 2020), the Collaborative on Inclusive Action and Engagement, and the Upper and Lower limb society groups within AAOP.
