Emma Newland is an ABC-certified orthotist and prosthetic resident for Hanger Clinic in Portland, Oregon.

As a clinician, Emma has a passion for patient-centered care. She is committed to empowering patients of all ages to recognize and reach their personal health and mobility goals. Her approach is shaped by a rich background working in behavioral therapy and special education, which fuels her enthusiasm for working with pediatric patients. In the lab, Emma’s dedication is evident as she crafts prosthetics and orthotics with precision and care, ensuring each device can enhance a patient’s quality of life.

Outside of work, Emma enjoys creating arts and crafts in a variety of mediums, outdoor activities such as hiking and camping, and trying her best at disc golf.
