Shane Heyward is a community care coordinator and a BOC-certified orthotic fitter for Hanger Clinic in North Carolina.
As a community care coordinator, Shane specializes in working as a liaison between surgeons and prosthetists for all ages and mostly amputees. Shane is passionate about O&P from starting out as a patient after being in a boating accident resulting in drop foot. He wanted to be an advocate for those who had a similar situation to his.
Outside of work, Shane enjoys spending time with family and friends and getting out on the golf course.
