Jason is an ABC-certified prosthetist/orthotist and Area Clinic Manager for Hanger Clinic in Ohio.
As an Area Clinic Manager with more than 20 years of experience in the field, Jason specializes in pediatric and adult upper and lower limb prosthetic technology with an emphasis on upper limb prostheses, including 3D-printed technologies. His expertise includes advanced myoelectric, body-powered, and partial hand/finger control systems.
Jason is passionate about orthotic and prosthetic care because it allows him to improve his patients’ mobility, independence, and confidence. He consistently sees this leading to a significantly enhanced quality of life for patients of all ages.
Jason feels fortunate to witness the impact on his patients and their families, especially when a young patient takes their first steps or performs a task independently for the first time. By supporting patients with orthoses and prostheses, he provides them with the physical tools and abilities to learn and develop, ensuring they can engage with their peers on as equal a playing field as possible. He believes it’s crucial for children to have the opportunity to become who they want to be without limitations.
Outside of work, Jason enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. When they are not running around to the kids’ sporting events and activities, they can be found camping and waterskiing in the summer and snow skiing in the winter.
