Matt is an ABC-certified prosthetist/orthotist for Hanger Clinic in Hartford, Connecticut, and Worcester, Massachusetts.
As a clinician with more than 6 years of experience in the field, Matt works with patients of all ages and specializes in neuromuscular diagnoses such as cerebral palsy and spina bifida, amputations, lower and upper extremity bracing, and lower extremity prosthetics.
Matt lost both of his legs below the knee due to an infection as a baby. For as long as he can remember, he wanted to make orthotic and prosthetic devices for children to keep them as active and mobile as possible. He finds great satisfaction in providing compassionate care for patients and their families and showing them that anything is possible. He is also inspired by their resilience and desire to explore life with the use of orthotic and prosthetic technology.
Outside of work, Matt enjoys roller blading, hiking, working out, biking, traveling, spending time with his family, and going to the beach.
