Douglas Sammons is an ABC-certified orthotist, licensed by the state of Texas. He started his career in the city of Houston, Texas, where he completed an orthotics and then a prosthetics residency at Dynamic Orthotics and Prosthetics. After residency, Douglas continued his employment at Dynamic Orthotics as a staff orthotist and liaison to the orthotics department of the Shriner’s Hospital in Houston. He gained further experience in rehabilitation as the mobile practitioner to many of the hospitals and therapy facilities in and around the city of Houston. Douglas continues to serve the patient’s that visit the Hanger Clinic locations in the greater Houston area.

Douglas is a graduate of the University of Texas Southwestern Allied Health Sciences School, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences and a certificate in Orthotics and Prosthetics.
