Liz is an ABC-certified prosthetist/orthotist for Hanger Clinic in Alexandria, Virginia.
As a clinician with more than 5 years of experience in the field, Liz specializes in the prosthetic and orthotic management of plagiocephaly, brachycephaly, and craniosynostosis as well as cerebral palsy, congenital hypotonia, idiopathic toe walking, scoliosis, hypotonia, and other developmental disorders. She is skilled in the Providence Nocturnal Scoliosis® system, Boston Brace 3D®, thoracic-lumbar-sacral orthoses (TLSOs), Rigo Chêneau orthoses (RCOs), and using the SmartSoc® system for STARband® cranial remolding orthoses.
Liz enjoys the creative thinking involved in developing unique solutions for each patient’s individual challenges, and is passionate about supporting their progress as they work toward their individual goals. When working with pediatric patients, she is always impressed by their determination and can-do attitude, and loves the cute colors and patterns they choose for their devices.
Outside of work, Liz enjoys spending time with her husband, two dogs and cat. She also loves to swim, and tries to spend as much time as possible in the water.
