Sara is an ABC-certified prosthetist for Hanger Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
As a clinician with more than 20 years of experience in the field, Sara specializes in lower limb prosthetics with a specialty in patients with rotationplasty due to proximal femoral focal deficiency (PFFD) and osteosarcoma. She is skilled in working with patients with high levels of activities and sports, patients with complex medical comorbidities, and patients with rotationplasty prostheses.
Sara is passionate about providing the best possible care, working with her patients to help them reach goals and get back to doing what they love. She finds a special joy in working with pediatric patients because of the relationship that develops with them and their families. She loves watching them hit new milestones and approach life without limitations.
Outside of work, Sarah enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, watching her children play sports and spending time with family and friends.
