Rachel is an ABC-certified prosthetist/orthotist for Hanger Clinic in Brainerd, Minnesota.
As a clinician with nearly a decade of experience, she provides mostly orthotic care with a special focus on the pediatrics population. She has significant experience in lower extremity orthotics and works with patients of all ages with a variety of different orthotic devices.
Rachel finds the orthotic and prosthetic field very rewarding and is driven to improve patients’ quality of life, whether that is through pain management, corrective bracing, or helping them reach their goals of standing, walking, or other movement. She loves to help solve challenges and finds it fulfilling to see patients’ progress with their orthosis/prosthesis.
When it comes to infant cranial asymmetry, she enjoys educating patients’ families about plagiocephaly and including them as an integral part of the corrective process. She finds it especially rewarding to share in the parents’/caretakers’ happiness as the cranial remolding orthosis (CRO) leads to visible improvement.
