Jason Meints is a physical therapist who specializes in lower limb loss rehabilitation. He has been with Hanger Clinic since 2014 and has worked with the amputee community since 2013. He has assisted in the development and advancement of rehab programs designed specifically for lower limb prosthetic users.
Jason received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Des Moines University in 2012. Although he spends most of his time in the clinic treating patients, he has found a passion in educating physical therapists and other healthcare professionals. He is a guest lecturer at Des Moines University and the University of Nebraska Medical Center in their Doctor of Physical Therapy programs, teaching several courses in prosthetics and amputee rehabilitation. In addition to his clinical role, Jason is involved with Hanger Clinic’s educational programs, instructing courses on limb loss rehab.
