Darrin is an ABC-certified prosthetist/orthotist for Hanger Clinic in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
As an area clinic manager with more than 31 years of experience in the field, Darrin sees patients of all ages. He specializes in lower extremity orthoses such as NEURO SWING, triple-action joint ankle-foot orthoses (AFOs), Boston Brace 3D® and Charleston Bending Brace® scoliosis treatment. Darrin also routinely fits stance control knee-ankle-foot orthoses (KAFOs) and hip-knee-ankle-foot orthoses HKAFOs. He manages the treatment of diagnoses including neurological conditions, spinal cord injury, scoliosis, cerebral palsy, Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease (CMT), spina bifida and sports injuries. Additionally, he has extensive experience working with hospital trauma patients, and treats many pediatric patients with lower and upper extremity devices during hospital clinics.
Passionate about improving the quality of life for all his patients, Darrin finds special satisfaction working with children. He enjoys collaborating with care teams – including pediatricians, physical therapists, and families/caregivers – to provide the high quality orthotic and prosthetic care that results in positive outcomes for his pediatric patients.
Outside of work, Darrin enjoys spending time with his wife and five children in their country home. He finds it relaxing to work outside taking care of their acreage, as well as refinishing and working with antique furniture and industrial equipment. Darrin is also an avid sports fan.
