Amy is an ABC-certified Prosthetist/Orthotist who was introduced to prosthetics as a little girl while accompanying her grandpa to his appointments at Hanger Clinic.
Her passion for patient care collided with her passion for international advancement of P&O when she was selected to spend three months in Buenos Aires, Argentina as a team leader overseeing the integration of P&O in to the Hospital de Niños and Clínicas Especializadas Pediátricas de Buenos Aires. She has participated in and led published research on transfemoral running prosthesis alignment, dynamic exoskeleton systems, and tuning of FRAFOs for children with spina bifida.
Amy strives to give back to our field as a member of the International Society of Prosthetics and Orthotics (ISPO), helping to foster clinician relationships in Argentina, and as an adaptive track and swim coach for BlazeSports.
