Considerations for Foreign Patients

We are happy to treat foreign patients but must see you in person, and are unable to contact embassies on your behalf or procure visas.

Currently, we do not have clinics located outside of the United States. We custom fit each patient with orthotic and prosthetic devices, and we treat each patient in person based on medical requirements to achieve optimal results. We are unable to provide any products or services without an in-person evaluation at one of our clinics.  

If you are planning a trip to the United States and would like to schedule an appointment for a free evaluation at a Hanger Clinic location, we recommend you find a clinic convenient to your travel plans.

Once you have found a clinic, you can call that clinic directly. Alternatively, you can email us at [email protected] for assistance. 

It requires more than one appointment to receive a device. Once you have completed your initial evaluation, your clinician will advise which prosthetic or orthotic options are best for you and will discuss what those options mean in terms of timing and cost.

Additional Considerations

• We are not responsible for travel costs, transportation to and from Hanger Clinic, or the cost of your treatment.
• We cannot contact embassies on your behalf in any manner, including sending letters.
• We cannot assist with patient Visas or offer sponsorship.
