Hanger Clinic is hosting a Bilateral Above Knee Amputee (BAKA) Bootcamp 2025 in Chicago, IL this June.
If you are a person with bilateral above-knee limb loss or limb difference, don’t miss out on attending this year’s Bootcamp. No matter your mobility level, you will be inspired to “Decide to Rise” to the next level of your abilities. You will be challenged and encouraged by your peers with limb loss, along with an exceptional Hanger Clinic team, led by Kevin Carroll, MS, CP, FAAOP/D.
New this Year! We’ll travel offsite to Hanger Clinic’s new state-of-the-art facility, the Integrated Care Center (ICC) for a mobility challenge. We’ll also have some fun with a Chicago-themed dinner party and travel downtown to tour and have dinner at the Shedd Aquarium.

- Badge & Bag Pick Up: June 18 from 4:00-6:00 p.m.
- Event Begins: June 19 at 8:00 a.m. and ends June 21 at 1:00 p.m.

Travel
The nearest airport to the hotel is Chicago O’Hare (ORD). The hotel has an airport shuttle that guests are welcome to use. If accessible transportation is needed, you may let the airport security know you need an ADA shuttle near the baggage claim. Security will help direct a shuttle to pull around for you. For faster service, you may pay the shuttle driver and retain your receipt. The hotel front desk staff will reimburse you for your charges.
