Al is a board-eligible clinician and practicing resident for Hanger Clinic in Ontario and Redlands, California.
As a practicing resident, Al specializes in pediatrics and is skilled in the orthotic management of hypertonia, hypotonia, cerebral palsy, pectus carinatum, osteogenesis imperfecta, legg-calve-perthes, club foot, plagiocephaly, brachycephaly, and scoliosis.
Growing up in the medical missionary field in a third-world country, Al saw how health challenges can affect one’s livelihood and self worth. He is passionate about helping patients regain their abilities and restore their confidence. He enjoys taking the journey with the parents as they work to help their children return to doing what they love.
Outside of work, Al is involved in a homeless ministry where he works to provide resources, food, and clothing to people who have lost their job and homes.
