Alex is an ABC-certified prosthetist/orthotist for Hanger Clinic. He has been practicing orthotics and prosthetics for over 15 years. Alex embraces a compassionate and team-based approach to patient care. With every patient, he strives to work closely with the individual as well as their family, physical therapist, and doctor to determine the best possible solution.
He has worked closely with both physical therapists and physicians at the National Rehabilitation Hospital, Georgetown University Hospital, and the Hospital for Sick Children’s Pediatric Center.
Alex has become a leader in the latest prosthetics and orthotics technology, utilizing technologies like vacuum-assisted suspension systems, microprocessor knees and feet, DMO suits, WalkAide functional electrical stimulation, and carbon fiber ankle-foot orthoses in the pursuit of the best clinical outcomes for his patients.
Outside of work, Alex is a devoted husband and father to his two young children, and an avid marathon runner and running coach.
