Alicia is an ABC-certified prosthetist/orthotist for Hanger Clinic in Fayetteville, AR.

She is passionate about orthotic and prosthetic care because she loves helping people and improving their quality of life. As a prosthetist/orthotist, she helps people with a wide range of conditions in many different ways – whether it’s helping a patient walk for the first time since an amputation, fitting a patient with a brace after an injury or surgery, or correcting or preventing progression of deformities with orthotic intervention – Alicia enjoys the many facets of orthotic and prosthetic care and the diversity of treatments and types of patients she gets the opportunity to treat.

Alicia specializes in pediatrics, scoliosis treatment and in cranial remolding orthoses (CROs) and has always enjoyed working with pediatric patients. It brightens her day when she gets to see her littlest patients smiling during their appointments and enjoys seeing the parents’ reactions at the end of treatment when they see the comparison scans showing the correction of their child’s head shape with the help of the cranial helmet. Alicia personally has had a child that went through the CRO treatment process. Going through the cranial helmet experience with her own child has helped her see things from both the parent’s perspective as well as the orthotist, so she truly understands how families are feeling as they go through the process.

Alicia has extensive experience in orthotics, fitting all types of devices for patients of all ages throughout her career. She works closely with the orthopedists at Arkansas Children’s Northwest Hospital. 

Outside of the clinic, Alicia enjoys spending time with her two children and is involved with her church and the church youth group. She also loves to spend time outdoors hiking and training in martial arts.
