Amy is an ABC-certified orthotist for Hanger Clinic in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
As a clinician caring for patients from birth to 21 years old, Amy draws on over 20 years of experience in the field of orthotics. Her specialties include lower extremity orthotics, gait analysis, contracture management, and toe walking for children with cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, spina bifida, arthrogryposis, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and specified and unspecified chromosomal anomalies.
Amy is passionate about helping young people with special needs and enjoys nurturing relationships with their families and care teams. She enjoys watching children grow and enhancing their mobility and quality of life. She considers the whole child, not just the diagnosis, with the goal of maximizing the quality of life for every patient and their families. Amy works with patients’ healthcare teams, including physical therapists, to design braces that work for each child’s lifestyle, goals, and long-term plan of care.
Outside of work, Amy is married with two children. She enjoys snow skiing, cooking, golf, and gardening.
