Ashley is a licensed, ABC-certified prosthetist and BOC-certified orthotist for Hanger Clinic in Murfreesboro and Estill Springs, Tennessee with over a decade of experience.
While Ashley specializes in lower limb prosthetics, she treats a broad spectrum of patients – from fitting a 6 month old with a cranial helmet to fitting a World War II Veteran with a prosthetic leg. She cherishes the opportunity to help improve a person’s quality of life. Ashley’s own grandfather was an amputee, and he never successfully wore a prosthesis, and she wanted to help others get back to living life to the fullest.
Specializing in infant cranial asymmetry, Ashley thrives on educating families about cranial remolding orthoses (CROs) and particularly enjoys when parents begin to see the improvement for themselves as the care journey progresses.
Ashley teaches continuing education courses for physical and occupational therapists in the middle Tennessee area. She is an active member of the Tennessee Society of Orthotics and Prosthetics (TSOP) and is currently serving as the first female President of the Tennessee Society of Orthotics and Prosthetics.
Ashley is also an active member of the Junior League of Nashville, the MUW Alumni Association, CrossPoint Community Church, and serves as the Chair of the Mississippi University for Women Alumni Association Chapters & Constituency Group Committee. Outside of the clinic, Ashley has a rescue yorkie mix, Jasper, and she enjoys kayaking, teaching swimming lessons, paddle boarding, and finding new adventures with her family and friends.
