Brandon is an ABC-certified prosthetist/orthotist and a Clinic Manager for Hanger Clinic in Quincy, IL with almost two decades of experience.
Brandon has worked in the field of Orthotics and Prosthetics (O&P) since he was 16 years old, when he was hired to clean up and organize the shop for an O&P company in his home town. He worked his way through learning how to fabricate virtually every type of device from foot orthotics to KAFOs to spinal braces as well as lower and upper extremity prosthetics. He was attracted to the field because he found it to be the perfect blend of the two things he enjoys most: building things and helping people. His creative outlet as a child was building with blocks, Legos or model cars/airplanes. As an adult, this outlet took the shape of woodworking and remodeling his home, a creativity that lends itself well to the field of O&P.
Though he sees a wide spectrum of patients, Brandon’s primary focus is lower extremity prosthetics and orthotics. He also specializes in treating pediatric patients with cerebral palsy or down syndrome, along with rare disorders such as Chiari Malformation and Cri Du Chat. As an infant cranial asymmetry specialist, Brandon enjoys seeing the incremental improvement with each visit and being able to quantify the results for each family.
Outside of the clinic, Brandon enjoys photography, woodworking, hiking, snow skiing, and working on the historic preservation/restoration of an 1897 Victorian House.
