Brian is an ABC-certified prosthetist and Area Clinic Manager for Hanger Clinic in Colorado, overseeing the Grand Junction, Montrose, and Glenwood Springs clinics. He is a third generation prosthetist, who grew up working in the field. He opened Karsten Prosthetic Labs in 1992, and he and his practice joined Hanger Clinic in 2012.

Brian completed his undergraduate degree at Colorado Mesa University, and his post-graduate degree at Century College/University of Minnesota Medical School.

Outside of the clinic, Brian enjoys all things outdoors and in the mountains.
