Bryan is an ABC-certified prosthetist, Clinic Manager, and Upper Limb Prosthetic Specialist based in Durango, Colorado. With his father being an amputee and prosthetic user, Bryan was introduced to orthotics and prosthetics at a young age and loves that his career blends patient care, fabrication, and technology. He feels fortunate to be able to work with limb loss patients and help them improve their quality of life.
As a longtime clinician with more than 14 years of experience in the field, Bryan is a member of the Hanger Clinic Upper Limb Prosthetic Specialty Network, seeing patients across Colorado and parts of New Mexico. He not only specializes in upper limb prosthetics, he teaches specialty clinics on both upper and lower limb prosthetic techniques and technology and is integrating 3D-printed components into his prosthetic designs.
Bryan is passionate about providing activity-specific prosthetic devices to empower mountain sports athletes to reach their goals. He has successfully fit prostheses for mountain biking, ice climbing, rock climbing, motocross, trail running, skiing, and kayaking. Additionally, he specializes in myoelectric control strategies, microprocessor-controlled knees and feet, body-powered systems, vacuum suspension, bilateral presentations, partial hand solutions, and pediatrics.
Outside of work, Bryan loves skiing, cycling, climbing, and being outside. He has two teenage daughters who he’s immensely proud of.
