Colleen is an ABC-certified prosthetist/orthotist for Hanger Clinic in Charlotte, North Carolina.
As a clinician with more than 5 years of experience in the field, Colleen specializes in pediatrics and is skilled in the orthotic management of scoliosis, traumatic brain injury (TBI), stroke, cerebral palsy, and clubfoot. She uses 3D imaging technology to support her orthoses fabrication. She also has a passion for prosthetics. She is certified as an Adaptive Athletic Trainer (personal trainer), which helps bring a special understanding and perspective to her patients and helping them to meet their goals.
Colleen embraces the critical and out-of-the box thinking required to determine the best solution for each patient. She understands healthcare can often be scary for pediatric patients and their families. That’s why she makes it a point to create a space for them that feels safe and welcoming. She loves watching children grow and accomplish new milestones.
Outside of work, Colleen enjoys playing Gaelic football and camogie for Charlotte Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA), and is an avid Notre Dame fan.
