Dakota is an ABC-certified prosthetist/orthotist at Hanger Clinic in Phoenix, Arizona.
With over three years of experience, Dakota is a subject matter expert in scoliosis, including idiopathic, congenital, and neuromuscular types. She also specializes in pediatric lower extremity orthotics and lower extremity prosthetics for patients of all ages. Dakota has been pursuing a career in orthotics and prosthetics since high school. She enjoys working with patients to develop individualized treatment plans that align with their goals and lifestyle, helping them succeed and continue enjoying the activities they love.
Dakota’s favorite part of working in orthotics and prosthetics is being there when patients take their first steps with their prosthesis or orthosis, and seeing the joy it brings them. She finds it especially rewarding to work with scoliosis patients, as she loves seeing great outcomes and the lasting impact that proper bracing can have on a young person’s confidence, comfort, and quality of life. Being part of these success stories and witnessing such meaningful progress motivates her every day.
Outside of work, Dakota enjoys spending time with her family and friends, playing with her dogs (Finn and Willow), hiking, and watching her favorite TV shows.
