Dan is an ABC-certified orthotist for Hanger Clinic in Battle Creek and Kalamazoo, Michigan.
As an area clinic manager with more than 22 years of experience in the field, Dan specializes in pediatrics and is skilled in pediatric lower extremity, upper extremity, and spinal orthotics.
Dan had a long-standing interest in biomechanics, orthopedics, and sports medicine. Then during his residency, he found it so rewarding to work with children that he narrowed his focus to pediatrics.
While Dan enjoys working with all his pediatric patients and their families, and being part of improving their lives, he is passionate about working with children with special needs. This commitment extends into the community, where Dan also works in local schools. There, he teams up with physical therapists, occupational therapists, and classroom teachers and aides to help support the special needs pediatric population.
Outside of work, you will find Dan outdoors. He enjoys mountain and road biking, camping, and spending time with his family at the log cabin his great-grandfather built in 1937.
