David is an ABC-certified prosthetist/orthotist and Clinic Manager for the Hanger Clinic locations in Tupelo and Starkville, Mississippi.
As a clinician with more than 33 years of experience, David is a member of the Upper Limb Proshtetic Specialty Network and is skilled in a range of prosthetic technology, from working with wooden prosthetic legs to advanced technologies such as elevated vacuum suspension. He also provides a variety of orthotic care, including custom protective facemasks for athletes and cranial remolding orthoses for babies with irregular head shapes. He often works with post-polio patients and has worked extensively with pediatric patients while at Shriner’s Hospital for Children.
Born and raised in Texas, David served in the United States Army from 1986 to 1990 and started his prosthetic career in 1991 by volunteering and sweeping the floor at Abilene Artificial Limb Company. David loves the team approach to O&P and enjoys collaborative patient care with physicians, physical therapists, and other providers.
