DJ is an ABC-certified prosthetist/orthotist assistant and a certified athletic trainer (LAT, ATC) who has experience working with a wide variety of patients, primarily athletes, including professional, collegiate, high school, and recreational athletes. He started as an athletic trainer with a passion to help others, and after completing an independent study with Hanger Clinic in Morgantown, West Virginia, saw a much larger patient population that could benefit from his help. He later pursued a profession in orthotics and prosthetics.
Alongside assisting the other clinicians, DJ is passionate about implementing and collecting a variety of outcome measures for patients in order to track progress. He also enjoys getting involved in anything related to adaptive sports/fitness.
Outside of the clinic, DJ enjoys all things related to sports and wellness, including optimizing his own health by lifting weights in his garage gym, running with his dog, Nora, and taking on new hobbies, the most recent being long boarding.
