Duane is a board-certified orthotist/prosthetist. He currently practices at the Waterville Hanger Clinic, where he dedicates his expertise to enhancing patient mobility and quality of life. Duane’s healthcare journey began in an Air Force trauma center, followed by studies in emergency medicine at the University of Texas Medical School, before transitioning to the Air Force orthotics program.

Duane is a seasoned orthotist and prosthetist with over four decades of experience. His expertise spans upper and lower extremity orthotics and lower extremity prosthetics. Before joining Hanger Clinic, Duane was in private practice for 29 years and spent four years teaching in the field. His background is complemented by contributions to research and development in orthotic and prosthetic technology.

Outside of work, Duane enjoys restoration projects, including homes and motorcycles, as well as snowmobiling and riding ATVs.
