Emily Martin is an ABC-certified prosthetist/orthotist for Hanger Clinic in Elizabethtown, Kentucky.
As a clinician with more than five years of experience in the field, Emily serves a full range of patients from childhood to adulthood in upper and lower extremity orthotics and adult lower extremity prosthetics. She especially enjoys caring for new amputees and walking with them through the early days of receiving their prosthesis and celebrating all the “little” wins of learning to ambulate again with the prosthesis.
Emily is passionate about O&P because of the combination of healthcare and hands-on technical support. She was first introduced to the field when she needed an ACL brace to return to playing volleyball. Emily wanted to be able to provide the hope and tools to regain mobility for others through providing tangible solutions.
Outside of work, Emily enjoys spending time with her husband and kids attending various sporting events, especially volleyball games.
