Emily is an ABC-certified prosthetist/orthotist for Hanger Clinic in Kalamazoo and Battle Creek, Michigan.
As a clinician, Emily specializes in pediatric orthotics and this includes infant cranial asymmetry, scoliosis orthotics and lower limb orthotics. Emily also works with amputees of all ages to fit and fabricate lower limb prosthetics. Emily is passionate about problem solving together with the patient and improving the quality of life through mobility. She is excited to work with patients and empower them to meet their mobility goals.
Prior to orthotics and prosthetics, Emily has worked in the automotive, plastics, and medical device industries with an education in biomedical engineering.
Outside of work, Emily spends her free time 3D printing, crafting, reading, listening to podcasts, and visiting the UP (Michigan’s Upper Peninsula) as often as she can.
