Gabby is an ABC-certified prosthetist/orthotist for Hanger Clinic in Portland, Maine.
As a clinician with more than 6 years of experience in the field, Gabby specializes in orthotic management for pediatric and adult patients. Being born with an upper extremity limb difference, Gabby was introduced to the field of prosthetics as a patient. Her personal experience drives her patient-first approach, ensuring each individual she serves is provided with an appropriate prosthetic or orthotic solution that will restore function and independence. She enjoys the adaptability of children and their willingness to learn/accept change, while providing a team-approach and working with not just her pediatric patients, but their families, doctors, therapists, and other care team members.
Outside of work, Gabby enjoys spending time outdoors and all the adventures Maine has to offer. Her favorite activities include cycling (gravel biking, mountain biking, bikepacking, and fat biking), skiing, playing ultimate frisbee and exploring Maine’s countless hiking trails and scenic landscapes. Gabby also spends time volunteering across the country as a limb-different mentor with Camp No Limits, traveling to Africa as limb-different a mentor with the Limb Kind Foundation, and volunteering with Maine Adaptive Sports and Recreation.
