Grace Walder is an ABC-certified prosthetist/orthotist for Hanger Clinic in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. 

As a clinician and a mother, Grace finds great joy in working with pediatric patients, particularly in crafting cranial orthotics and custom designs for lower and upper extremity orthotics. Her expertise includes offloading foot orthotics, custom KAFOs, and managing complex cases that address multiple body parts.

A strong advocate for those with limb loss, Grace is dedicated to providing activity-specific devices. She has actively supported legislation by So Every Body Can Move, which has successfully secured insurance coverage for New Mexicans to access running blades, swimming devices, and more. Additionally, Grace has volunteered internationally, creating prosthetics in Bolivia and contributing her skills with the Range of Motion Project in Ecuador.

Outside of work, Grace enjoys hiking in the Sandias, running with her dog and daughter, and competing in triathlons. She also shares her love for baking by donating treats to For Goodness Cakes and participates in her church’s worship team.
