Graham is an ABC-certified prosthetist/orthotist for Hanger Clinic in upstate New York. He is the area’s pediatric specialist for any and all types of prosthetic and orthotic interventions, including cranial remolding orthoses.
Graham grew up with an older brother with special needs, so helping out and thinking of his brother’s needs over his own became second nature from a very young age. Since then, his passion for helping others grew and is now the base of his O&P career. He loves that the O&P field provides a space where his passion for helping and his enjoyment of tinkering with, fixing, and creating things can flourish. There is nothing better than the look on someone’s face when they realize they are able to walk again as a result of something he has made for them.
When it comes to cranial remolding orthoses, he likes working with (often new) parents to help them understand their child’s unique case, explaining how an orthosis can address it, and what to expect for outcomes and treatment timeline. As a father himself, he knows that a million things can be thrown at the parents at once, so he works to consolidate and present information in a concise and manageable way in order to help with understanding as well as putting minds at ease.
Outside of the office, Graham enjoys working on his 120+ year old “fixer-upper” house, repairing small engines like motorcycles and quads, spending time outside hiking/camping/paddle boarding with his wife and son, and playing volleyball.
