Jason is an ABC-certified prosthetist/orthotist and area clinic manager for Hanger Clinic in Columbus, Ohio.
As an area clinic manager with more than 18 years of experience in the field, Jason specializes in pediatric and adult upper and lower limb prosthetic technology with an emphasis on upper limb prostheses, including 3D printed technologies. His expertise includes advanced myoelectric, body-powered, and partial hand/finger control systems.
Jason is passionate about orthotic and prosthetic care because it gives him the chance to improve his patients’ mobility, independence, and confidence. He consistently sees this leading to a significantly enhanced quality of life for patients of all ages.
He feels fortunate to see the impact on his patient’s and their family, especially when a young patient takes their first steps or performs a task independently for the first time. Supporting patients with orthotics and prosthetics, Jason can give them the physical tools and abilities to learn and develop, on as level a playing field as possible, with their peers. He feels this is very important to a little one, working to become who they want to be, without limitations.
Outside of work, Jason enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. When they are not running around to the kids’ sporting events and activities, you can find them camping and waterskiing in the summer, and snow skiing in the winter.
