Jim brings nearly thirty years of experience to Hanger Clinic. He practices in Duluth and Hibbing, Minnesota, and is the Area Clinic Manger for Northern Minnesota. He sees patients of all ages, specializing in lower limb prosthetics, with experience utilizing flex sockets, elevated vacuum technology, and microprocessor technology. Jim also enjoys teaching incoming residents, and participates as an examiner in the Hanger Clinic prosthetic mock-examinations.

Jim is passionate about the field of prosthetics because it allows him to participate in each patients’ journey. He finds it rewarding to follow patients’ progress, seeing improvement over time and helping them reach their full potential. He focuses on connecting patients to appropriate resources in healthcare as well as other opportunities for recreation.

Outside of work, Jim likes to cook and be active in the outdoors. He’s previously helped with a variety of adaptive sports and recreation activities.
