Clinical Resident

Jay Quizon is a clinical resident for Hanger Clinic in Providence, Utah.

As a clinical resident, Jay has prior experience as an O&P technician, fitter and assistant. O&P allowed him to pursue a career in healthcare and combine it with his skills in art and working with his hands. Jay is originally from the Philippines, and has always wanted to go back and help with their developing O&P technology. He is passionate about directly working with patients, and strives to help improve other people’s lives and make the world better for others.

Some of Jay’s past professional experience includes being a member of California Orthotic & Prosthetic Association (COPA) from 2023-2024. He also worked with ‘2ft Prosthetics’ based in Utah and Mabuhay Deseret Foundation based in the Philippines to participate in a week long Prosthetics outreach where he provided lower limb prostheses to patients in need.

Outside of work, Jay enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, reading books, being active, and going on adventures. He also loves taking care of plants, and would like to get back to rock climbing and photography.
