John Ward is an ABC-certified/licensed prosthetist/orthotist for Hanger Clinic in Akron, Ohio.

As a clinician with more than 40 years of experience in the field, John specializes in pediatric orthotics and prosthetics. He has experience with spinal orthotics, upper and lower extremity as well. John works with the local physicians and therapists in their offices to collaborate for a team approach to create the best possible outcomes for our patients, coming up with unique solutions to meet individual needs. He is passionate about working with the patients and watching them grow and develop with the assistance of devices provided. Year after year he strives to develop real bonds and friendships with his patients and their families.

Outside of work, John enjoys Sunday dinner with his children and grandchildren, tournament fishing, and outdoor activities. He also loves working in his yard and growing the garden with his wife of over 43 years, Sharon.
