Josh is an ABC-certified orthotist for Hanger Clinic in Johnson City, New York.
As a clinician with more than 15 years of experience in the field, Josh specializes in pediatrics with a focus on early intervention, the orthotic management of cerebral palsy, and custom lower extremity devices.
Josh’s passion for the field started as a child. Growing up, he had three siblings with severe disabilities. He always enjoyed going to their orthotic care appointments, and it sparked his interest in pursuing a career in the field. Josh strives to give children with disabilities the same compassionate care his family received, and understands first-hand the difference bracing can make. He tries to bring joy and hope to a difficult situation, helping children achieve their goals and making a tangible difference in their lives.
He finds great satisfaction in helping people reach their potential and live more fulfilled lives. He especially enjoys working with children because they have a willingness to learn and grow, and they adapt well to bracing. He finds it very fulfilling to see a child walk for the first time, and knowing that something he created helped that become reality. He is passionate about bringing hope to difficult situations and knowing that he and the Hanger team made a difference.
Outside of work, Josh is active in his church, enjoys spending time with his family, and loves being outdoors.
