Kai Newton is an ABC-certified prosthetist/orthotist and area clinic manager for Hanger Clinic in Honolulu, Hawaii.
As an area clinic manager and clinician who has provided P&O care in Hawaii since 2000, Kai appreciates being part of the rehabilitation team and finding solutions to enhance patient quality of life. Kai enjoys working with individuals of all ages, including keiki and their families, to kupuna.
Kai is passionate about helping patients and families understand how prosthetic and orthotic devices may impact their lives. Whether fitting someone with a prosthetic leg allowing them to walk again or helping to reduce pain and instability with an orthotic device, Kai considers it a privilege to play a part in an individual’s rehabilitation.
One of the most rewarding parts of Kai’s job is the opportunity to learn new things every day. Throughout his career, Kai has committed to bringing advanced P&O technology and techniques to Hawaii ensuring patients receive the most innovative care.
Outside of work, Kai loves to spend time with his wife and three children. He enjoys fishing, hiking, and attending his kids’ activities.
